なんかもうLLM時代にモノリシックカーネルって厳しくて、マイクロカーネルにしたほうが飛んでくる修正パッチの数を減らせて開発しやすいんじゃないか…って気分

モノリシックカーネル、CISCがRISCの思想を取り込んだみたいに今のLinuxはマイクロカーネルがやろうとした目的を結構果たしてると思う

デバッグを容易にするためのマイクロカーネルを採用し、GNUプロジェクトであったカーネルはデバッグに時間がかかって爆死したが、Linuxはモジュール式になって稼働中に機能のオンオフができるし、kexecとかeBPFみたいな飛び道具も用意されてて、開発当初の設計とか思惑は人手と資金でどうにでもなるものだなと
