そういえば、広島では広島に来ることを来広と書いたり広島に帰ることを帰広と書いたりするのですが、長崎では来長や来崎といった表現は使われないので広島に引っ越してから来広や帰広を見て驚きました。

I asked Muse 1.3 to help me setup Qwen 3.8 in OpenCode locally, which it did immediately, with llama-cuda.
now I'm trying out local code generation, since I have a use-case where I cannot use remote models. it does kinda work, but the context window is limited and it is quite slow.

Google Working To Leverage More Compiler Optimizations Within The Linux Kernel
While Linus Torvalds previously shot down plans for Profile Guided Optimizations (PGO) in the mainline Linux kernel, Google engineers are hoping still to get that out-of-tree functionality upstream. They also would like to see PGO supported for Linux kernel modules rather than just the main Linux kernel image. Additionally, they hope to see limitations overcome around AutoFDO and Propeller op…

I have a need to know how many text posts, images, and videos this Mastodon server gets in a month, local and remote (separately).
Or, from anyone else who has such data, what that looks like such that I can extrapolate a likely volume of all three stratified by local vs remote per e.g 1,000 active. If anyone has some handy dandy data and/or queries to run, I'd be extremely grateful.
