@mkljczk `muting_expires_at` doesn't even make grammatical sense in my head. At this point MAEPs, or how you called them, are becoming a possibly needed thing in the future. If they would listen that is. Because for a long time whenever Mastodon decided to extend their API, they've done it in stupid ways.

@teobot C言語の、関数内にあるstatic変数。宣言時に値を代入した場合、プログラムの起動時のみその値が設定され、関数を呼び出して変数の内容を変更した場合はその値が保持されるという理解で良いよね？

Japan has problems like black companies and underpopulation and low birth rates and the whole (upper) society class being really draconian to just about everything, according to the internet. But my personal experience with Japan (and some Japanese companies) were not bad at all! As a matter of fact, they were genuinely good! Yeah there are still black companies around, but the Japanese government is rather serious about enforcing labor laws and cracking down on all those unethical malpractices in place. In 2026 today, there are companies, mainly young, start-ups companies, that are genuinely up-to-date with modern work ethics in my opinion.
