Hi @fedi !

I wanted to build a decentralized communication platform where you can truly own your online presence. Fediverse is not quite that, because you need to rent a domain name and often the hardware too, but it was the biggest decentralized network at the time, so I decided that it is a good place to start.

Mitra was a testing ground for various protocol extensions, and eventually grew into a full-fledged micro-blog.

@fedi It is similar to followers-only posts, but instead of simply following, subscribers need to pay a certain amount.

Leaving X. 

German parties leaving, collectively, is more than a symbolic exit. It is a chance to reassess how and where political communication happens. 

A platform’s relevance is not inherent. It is constructed through user behavior. And when influential users walk, the relevance begins to erode.

モダンなウェブ開発者が無能だと言う理由が不思議か？
Amazonのカートに適当な商品を沢山入れ、大半の商品に「後で買う」をクリックして、其れからリストに移動させてみて
暫くすると、サイトが不具合を起こし始める
リストに移動させた後で「削除」をクリックすると（其れ自体が既にダメな設計で、自動的にアイテムを削除すべきなのにしない）、カート全体が突然消えてしまう
Amazonが「カートは空だ」と判断してしまうからだ
1回リフレッシュしても、未だカートは空のまま
2回リフレッシュすると、ようやくカートが元に戻る
然し、此れを繰り返せば繰り返す程、カートを復活させる為に必要なリフレッシュ回数が増えていく

するとインフラエンジニアがこう言うのを聞く
「でも俺は全てのサーバーをクラウドに移したから、もう大丈夫だぞ」
サーバーをクラウドに移す事こそが、貴方が無能である証拠だ
君の仕事は、サーバーとインフラを自分で構築し、管理する事だ
コントロール出来ない外部の会社に丸投げする事ではない！
AWSに依存している時点で、お前はもうインフラエンジニアじゃなく、只のカスタマーサポート担当者だわ

もう一つのポイントは、此れがWeb開発者の仕事だという事だから、何も学べない可能性が更に高く、入社する前にもう辞めさせられる事になるわ

3年の実務経験を要求しつつ、同時に生成AIを使う事を期待している求人を見かけたら、其の仕事は受けない方が良い
要するに人事部が其の仕事の内容を全く理解していないという事だから、貴方は何も学べないし、世界をより悪い場所にするだけの存在になり、数ヶ月後には恐らく辞めさせられる事になる
