So today's social media job was setting up #FediProfile. Like many other independent musicians, I have pieces on several platforms. With any luck, FediProfile will be a viable substitute for #Linktree.

I'm comfortable building and designing projects, but I'm honestly bad at promoting them.
I tried a donation call once for a new Mac, but after two hours I felt uncomfortable asking while Holos and my iOS work weren't mature enough to justify it. I closed the campaign and refunded the donors. Ironically, donations came later, on their own, with kind messages, covering about 10% of the computer budget.

@crse There is no mention of Fediverse or ActivityPub in the project description on GitHub and their website is not working for me (Cloudflare error).
As a general rule, if the developer does not prioritise the Fediverse, the app will not be included.

I think he might be on to something. Some optional non-chronological feed would be nice.
Disagree with the idea of "community managers" putting notes underneath posts though.

Are there any plans to implement encryption for private messages using a public key attached to the Fediverse account?
I understand that the metadata would not be encrypted, but that would be more than sufficient for many use cases. The decentralised nature of the Fediverse is a major advantage in the fight against censorship.

It uses MLS to implement encrypted messaging over ActivityPub. Bonfire and Emissary have working implementations, and Mastodon will implement it later this year.

I'm glad Hawaii stood up and stopped citizens united. I hope one day we can stop the greed of corporations bribing their way into legislation in North Carolina as well. I hope and pray that day comes soon.
the Citizens United decision enabled the bribery and corruption we see in politics today.
