Is there a #Buffer equivalent for Mastodon/fediverse? I currently only post to Mastodon anyway and on a single account; I just want something I can easily schedule posts for later at reasonable intervals so I don't spam too many at once. Which I usually fail at anyway, but that is the intent.

PeerTube is a viable alternative to YouTube
Sure it does not have the reach, but it has something more precious for creators like Steven Colbert. You can take control.
This seems daunting, but it is actually quite simple. Using a very modest server setup ($7.25 per month) @oldcoder is now hosting Only In Monroe commercial free, as a demonstration to creators everywhere.

PeerTube As Alternative To YouTube's Monopoly
Recently Steven Colbert surprised everyone by hosting Only In Monroe just 24 hours after his last Late Show appearance. It was available on YouTube. This was cool, but viewers also had to also watch gross commercials for things like anti-diabetes potions and herbal laxatives. Also, YouTube videos are subject to Google's algorithms. This is just trading one oppressive gatekeeper for another.
There is another way.

Is it okay if the instance actor id is equivalent to the instance url? Does anyone know if most other implementaions support this?

For other people, I find that I'm most able to understand them when I watch their eyes. Their hands don't feel quite as invested with personhood as their eyes.
So, I think my answer is eyes.

Thanks to everyone who replied.
I feel the locus of myself in my eyes and hands. My eyes are my main way of directing my attention, and my hands are my way of implementing my intent. The coordination between eyes and hands feels like mostly where my self is.
My brain feels behind my self; my heart is lower down, in the body part. I don't feel like a brain looking out the windows of the eyes; I feel like my self is further forward than that.

@rxp A good metaphor maps a dynamic in the symbolic domain into the system being modeled.
"Look before you leap" is a good metaphor because it is actually a good idea to look where you're going before you jump in. And that translates to, you know, deciding on a romantic relationship or taking a job.
Lorde's metaphor is difficult because it's not like that. There's nothing intrinsic to the master's tools that make them unsuitable to dismantling his house.
