I really dislike streaming and it's short seasons (it's not just a Paramount problem). And whole season story arcs force two things that I truly dislike about TV nowadays. The first you mentioned "OMG THE WORLD/GALAXY IS ENDING" syndrome. The second is endemic to Netflix where they want 13 episodes of a full season story arc -- but most of the shows only have enough story to fill maybe six episodes. So we get a bunch of filler episodes that just drag the pacing of a season to a halt.
SNW does well with it's mostly episodic stories -- with some long running storylines.
Agreed on paying attention to online discourse.

富士SWのSGT来週か。丸六年SGT観に行けてないから、そろそろミク号の奮闘を直接また観たい。しかしこの暑さで行きて帰れるか分からんよな。

I agree on SNW and LD -- and yes, SNW occasionally annoys me too.
I wasn't a fan of DISCO mainly because it felt like a mess and I didn't really gel with Burnham as a character. Though I really liked Saru and I really liked Admiral Cornwell a lot.
Never watched Academy and probably never will.

I streamed a few rounds of Brotato here. I was testing my new game controller, the Leadjoy Xeno Plus and it was super responsive. I'm really liking the controller so far.

#HolosDiscover has an issue with accents that I'll fix ASAP. For instance, searching for "Androïd" returns far fewer results than "Android".
In case you can't see the difference, the letter "i" has a diaeresis (tréma) in the first word.
