underproofed ganbold@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com (2026-08-02 00:46:05) I used one in the past but cover art is using ascii so if the cover art is too detailed, it can't render well. for the remote access, ,kinda not sure. if we can use something like mpv to stream audio, maybe its technically possible to have TUI with streaming from different host? interesting.
ah yeah the pixel-rendered album art. rendering image in a terminal is a bit, uh, not sure. I had similar case as well. maybe worth to search
underproofed ganbold@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com (2026-08-02 00:41:50) idk how many people accessing my site. I kinda want to set a tracker but also don't want to set a tracker. even if its self-hosted tracker.
maybe I should use a server-side tracker instead. at least this way I know which app are still being used vs deserted app
Michael Kratzenberg 📢@kratzen@berg.mobilecourant.org (2026-08-02 00:24:56) I remember stories of Man vs Machine where we celebrate Humanity. Now, we let the machine create our music, our books, our movies, and our visual arts. AI companies want to push us down and keep us down. There is nothing more beautiful than humanity at its best. Push back against AI.

underproofed ganbold@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com (2026-08-01 23:59:33) kinda talking to myself, have a D word warning (depresso).
in some way I think depressed people attract each other. not in romantic way, kinda in survival instinct way. especially if the other person is stronger than us, its kinda makes me believe that oh wow that is how it looks if I could overcome it.
well I believe that the other way might exist tho, like, prefer having weaker around, but not a way I'd like to favor.
this realization comes from the people I admire to kinda have a similar taste in the depresso. my depresso taste is basically like, life is shit, but it doesn't mean I'm the shit, I'm just nobody. and it doesn't mean that other people are shit as well. we just happen in a shit place so we don't know! the best we could do is just, how to survive or leave. so seeing someone else survived longer or could leave kinda inspire me
underproofed ganbold@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com (2026-08-01 23:54:49) oh I thought mpd was kinda like navidrome, a way to stream between 2 hosts. but if its just a database, basically its like calibre for books? like you cant literally use calibre to read an e-book from different host, but it manage the books in the host where its being installed
