Introducing Betula v1.7.0

#Betula is a self-hosted federated bookmark manager. Tags, descriptions, quotes, #Fediverse, archives.

This release introduces log servers integration (ECS), OCI container, Docker Hub release, pre-built executables for many operating systems (from GNU+Linux to Plan 9), and other fixes and improvements.

#Fedilab 3.39.0 is available.

What's new:
- Reorganized settings with categories and search
- Option to refresh all timelines at once on pull-to-refresh (default disabled)
- Support for custom poll durations based on instance
- Support for web+ap:// and web+activitypub:// protocols
- Quotes now open inside the app instead of the browser (remote)
It also brings several fixes, including a fix for #Pixelfed login failure.

A new version of #Holos has been released (1.5.5).

It introduces support for "web+ap://" links (fedilinks), so profiles and posts can now be opened directly in Holos. The sync experience is also smoother with less UI freezing, and post deletion is more reliable: posts are kept locally until all remote instances confirm removal, with automatic retry on failure.

Asking for a friend: do you remember the fantastic https://w-social.eu website that explained to people what the Fediverse is and why it's a much better alternative to #WSocial?

Sadly it appears to be offline / with an expired SSL cert. Do you know who is behind it? Any chances of reviving it?

The folks behind W Social are launching the site this Saturday... they already got TV coverage in Germany last night 😒​

Settings in #Fedilab have been reworked to improve the UX.

A search feature is now available to filter them. The settings are also organized into clearer categories, and the matching item is highlighted when you tap it.

To translators, this feature introduces many new keywords used for filtering. Thank you for your contribution.
