imo the 512gb of storage in the base model is not worth it. just not enough space given how big games are now. I will be sticking with steam deck until the prices come down after the butlerian jihad.

@dthompson I'm glad we replaced our older PC in late 2024 cause we probably couldn't afford to now. Fingers crossed that my daily driver lasts through this.

Lucky for me at least I'm often 10-20 years behind on playing new games.

@ridley I mostly play older stuff too so the hardware I have is fine but the steam machine would be a nice replacement for my ps4 as the main living room computer.
