I know I been quieter around these parts lately. Truth is I'm entirely burnt the fuck out, I've hit a wall, and I could use some help getting back up.

Still need food for the second half of the month, and transit money. If someone could get the shower stool off my wishlist that'd be really awesome. Any help appreciated!

@Curator @albinanigans have you seen the post of that admin saying that he adds everyone anti-AI to an "AI bigot" blocklist?
Big yikes, he excuses racism and at the same time he qualifies that as bigotry.

Hey @loops and @peertube!
I'm thinking about creating my child accounts on #loops and/or #peerTube instead of doing that on YouTube or TikTok - of course. For creating content as well.
But what about child protection?
As far as I can see, there is none built-in at all, right!? Is this a thing even in the #fediverse? This important topic is getting more and more attention in the recent past - which is good - but what are you doing or planning about it? Is there something I missed?
Sincerely

@albinanigans 💯 And if they only take action after someone's kicked up a fuss then it's not genuine, is it - they're just saving face.

I think you should. They clearly don't have the best interests of Black people in mind, even after it was highlighted and pointed out to them.

Just a heads up for mastodon.art users, I've brought up the notion of offering infosec.exchange to the fediblock gods because this keeps happening with them.

Black folk: This is the kind of racism I get on fedi and why I don't feel safe here.
Two people on infosec.exchange: I'm going to reply with something racist that fits the kind of racism you say you experience here.
.art: *forwards reports for racism*
Infosec.exchange: *crickets*
Another Black person: Fedi is full of anti-Blackness
i.e mod: Report it to us! We'll listen and learn and fix it!
Me: well, here's two reports where there was a racism and you didn't fix it.
i.e. mod: nah they're fine

quoted posts have their own buttons now but it’s very buttony, you can hide all that with the buttons switch in the left menu, all operations still available in the long press menu
