@mookie I feel for ya — when going to LA on I-5, the last 25% in miles takes 50% of the time. Even if it doesn’t, it feels like it does.

Alright my fellow librerians, I am *just* seeing if #patreon treats a shop item specially in terms of putting it in front of lots of people and I will report back.
So sorry about this apparently $5 lisp clim tutorial. I will put the org on my codeberg in a second secretly too. Remember the goal is to exfiltrate lisp community members from patreon into the show and we are being pragmatic because of how bad things are. #lisp #clim #paywalled

:boostRequest: could you please give me a boost? :boostRequest: 🥺
goal: 162/900
shit has hit the fan really hard this week. My parent had a huge fight and my father promised that stuff would be solved one way or the other by the end of the week and so we don't know when are we going to be kicked out or whatever the fuck will happen now and I need as much money as I can get for the worst case scenario.
I've been studying my hardest for public servant exams and trying to land any job possible but shit has been hard.
Any and every bit of help is much appreciated! Any amount and boosts goes a long way!
thanks for the support!!!

Intel Linux Driver Orphaned For Limiting RF Exposure To Humans
Over the past year and a half a number of open-source drivers in the Linux kernel have been orphaned as a result of departures from the company. The impact has ranged from the Intel CPU "coretemp" temperature driver being orphaned without a maintainer to other lesser known Intel drivers. Another lesser known Intel driver is now being orphaned with no longer having a maintainer at the company: the Intel Speci…

AMD Preparing To Enable HDMI 2.1 FRL Support By Default For Linux
It was back in May that the surprising event happened of AMD posting HDMI 2.1 FRL patches for their open-source AMDGPU Linux driver as part of their broader HDMI 2.1 bring-up. For years the open-source HDMI 2.1 support in AMDGPU was blocked by the HDMI Forum but whether it was due to Valve or some other event, the code was finally unblocked. While it's been part of the kernel since Linux 7.2, it's been di…
