Let's talk art supplies!
Who the heck is buying a #10 Windsor Newton series 7 kolinsky brush?! Those things are over $400! What are you painting with that? I've got a size 2 around here, and it's excellent, but it was $20. Like, do you know how easy it is to ruin a brush?? I dread the day I accidentally dip it in ink or something. I can't imagine a brush worth hundreds. The fear... Smdh.
Just use a calligraphy brush if you need a big brush.

@gobino Interesting. Never heard about this device but I see it’s a smaller version of classic ebook readers. I need to read more about it.

@bstn I've had issue with reading as well, but now that I got an xteink, I've been reading almost every day. It really changed how I read and how I use my phone.

@Findarato yeah, it has to be purely hashtags. Tuba's goal with hashtag extraction is to follow Mastodon-web's behavior 1:1

@Tuba Thanks for the results. I am doing some testing, if there are ANY punctuation in it, or a mention it does not work.

@Findarato same as mastodon-web, there's a mention between the hashtags, so they weren't extracted. The goal is to not manipulate sentences, but only move them to pills if the user intended to use them for reaching more people at the end of their post.
For example:
#I #love pancakes #but #hate waffles
Would turn into:
pancakes waffles
#i #love #but #hate

@Findarato I'd say that's expected, we basically follow mastodon-web here; if the last paragraph consists entirely of hashtags, turn them into pills, but if they are part of the sentence, don't. If you see that post on your instance's frontend, the hashtag has also not been extracted.

@Findarato It extracts the hashtags from the last paragraph and turns them into pills, if you've found an edge case, please open an issue with the post content!

By the afternoon of May 29, we had come down off Mt Taylor far enough for things to look like the desert again. This water source was pretty vile cow water, in a very nice mini-canyon setting. Staffage is a hiker named Plankton; a very nice guy, but much faster than me so we didn't hike near each other for long.
Watercolor 4"x4" in my new favorite cute little sketchbook.
