@project1enigma corba strikes me as the javafication of an actor-like system. it's similar in the sense that it's an RPC protocol with object references. it's different in that those object references are not capabilities, it has schemas (using IDL), and doesn't facilitate peer-to-peer connectivity. it looks a hell of a lot more complicated than ocapn is, too.

I made a new PostCSS plugin for the new CSS `corner-shape: squircle`.
It creates smooth corners like in iOS (and nature). The plugin adjusts `border-radius` for squircle geometry and can add `corner-shape` automatically.

このサンプルからの結論は、AVIF、JXLは速度と品質とファイルサイズの全てでWebPを上回るプロファイルがある。WebPを使う意味なし。
意外にも高品質、長時間よりのプロファイルでAVIFがJXLに勝った。JXLのeffort maxでも品質とファイルサイズでAVIFの方がいい。
逆に高速なプロファイルではJXLが上回る部分もあった。
あとSSIMULACRA2スコアは90くらいで飽和しているような気がする。視覚的ロスレスを超えて、拡大前提でのディティールを、人間の視覚を元にした測定方法ではうまく測れないのかも？

I understand that he wants to sell his books and make money and get more patreons in the good faith of capitalism and all but holy goodness spreading lies and hate toward a literal free open source software that is ran by unpaid volunteers like KDE should absolutely be not the way to go on about this... this is just, wrong...

Holy hell. I was just joking when I said someone was prolly getting paid to watch KDE burn. I did not think that there was actually a dude who is absolutely profitting the heck out of the KDE drama. And that is the same person who has spread (and still is spreading) lies about KDE right now. And, the worst part is... he's actually an influencer in the fediverse with over 11k followers‽ And the way he got so popular is by selling books about spreading more AI hate...
Bruh...I need a drink...this is just madness.....

Framing network communication as "networked objects" just reeks like the basic approach of Corba: everything on the network is an object (in the OOP sense). Communication is "messaging an object" (again OOP sense, method invocation).

Not even saying that. Just feels parallel. Like reinventing the wheel (even if not consciously) just hopefully better (but back then the wheel didn't work out so well, was too heavyweight probably which is why SOAP and then REST came to be).
