The Odyssey in 70mm IMAX is quite the experience! That's one big ass screen to sit in front of for nearly 3 hours but I'm glad I waited to see it in this format, as God intended. They played a preview scene of Dune 3 beforehand and that was extremely intense.

FedibirdにMastodon本家由来の翻訳機能をつけました。
・Mastodon標準機能なので、クライアントアプリが対応していれば、アプリでも機能します
・Mastodonの翻訳は、翻訳のエンジンとして外部サービスを呼び出します。DeepLとLibreTranslateに対応しています。
・DeepLは速度も速く翻訳精度も優れていますが、有料でコストがかかります。また、外部サイトにデータを送ります。
・LibreTranslateは運営管理下のfedibird.comのサーバで実行されており、無料で使え、外部サイトにデータを送らない仕組みです。ただし、翻訳精度はDeepLに劣ります。
・WebUIはFedibirdで仕組みをアレンジしていて、まるごと翻訳して入れ替えるボタン（リンク）の他、段落ごとに原文と訳文を対で表示する「対訳」ボタンを追加しました。
・精度が高めのDeepLも結論が逆になったり、段落をごそっと省略するようなウソ翻訳をすることもありますし、LibreTranslateはそもそも精度が低いので、原文と訳文を照らし合わせながら参照できる機能を作りました。

The #postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026 is now finished, so I can finally reveal my "evil" sideway plan for the conf: to get #alpine invited so Alpine devs would finally meet each other in person and get moving making decisions.
On hindsight and seeing how things turned out, it seems it wasn't really an evil plan all along. All Alpine devs that showed up seemed super excited and happy that they got to meet each other. And also a lot more ready to make decisions. What a success!
Not to say the main goal: having a Nura/pmOS conf was an incredible success. Massive thanks to @aelin and @ptrc
