公開鍵暗号なぁ。エンジニアでも、SSHの公開鍵認証をチャレンジレスポンス認証だとか、公開鍵で暗号化するみたいな誤解をしている人がいるので人類には難しいです

I got another "genuine curiosity" question about when the last time I used LLMs was, which I think is a setup for a "gotcha" because I said LLMs are all pattern recognition and no reasoning which is true!

people say lobste.rs is more anti-llm than hn but it's only sort of true. say anything negative about llms or refuse to entertain insipid questions ("please explain for the millionth time why llms are bad, I'm genuinely* curious why you'd think so?") and your comments will get flagged.

小説の主人公の重婚プロット、初めて読んだときは最初は結構がっかりしたけど、現代の社会通念が通用するのは現代のこの社会だけで他の社会では違うよなと思って読了できた。現実でも以前は重根があった裕福な層でそれが忌避される様になってまだ数世代だし。

Is it possible to have my snac instance use TOR to federate *and* to have it available over clearweb at the same time?
Would this mean that my instance pulls data from other instances using TOR, but other instances would only use the clearweb to pull data from me, so they could be blocked at the national level?
