IDCFはvmwareの世界でも数少ないハイクラスなユーザになる。そのため特別なbroadcomとの契約に基づいて古いESXiを提供していたようだ。しかしこのザマである。broadcomの体制にも疑念を抱かせる形になっているだろう。

MTを提供するシックスアパートもIDCFを使用していたが、マルチクラウドでバックアップしていたために迅速に復旧が進んでいる。政府ガイドラインでマルチクラウドはやるべきではないと強く言及していることもあってか、この対応をできた会社はほかにないようだ。また、ISMAP認証をうけているにもかかわらずこういうことになってしまったことで、その信頼性も疑わしいものとなった。

IDCFの問題の私なりの注目ポイント
* IDCFはvmwareを提供するbroadcomの公式VCSPパートナー。世界でも数少ない高級パートナーである
* IDCFはISMAP認証取得で政府からの信頼を得ている
* デジタル庁は政府ウェブサービスのマルチクラウドは無駄なので行うべきではないというガイドラインを示している
* データセンター1つをほぼまるごと乗っ取られて、バックアップを削除されデータを暗号化された。ユーザ管理画面には犯行声明が表示された。その内容は身代金の案内ファイルになぜ気付かないんだという内容。
* 犯行声明の内容からすると、クラウドはvSphereベース。vShereは近年多数の深刻な脆弱性が見つかっている。
* IDCF、公式に白旗をあげ、復旧は無理と公表
