It looks like whoever is behind this has finally come for one of my sites. Manually blocking datacenter IPs has worked for a while, but it seems like the traffic is now coming either from residential IPs, or the IPs are just getting spoofed.
Real conundrum. I didn't want to have to set up Cloudflare for the site, and I have to wonder how good they are at catching this anyway, but it might just come to that.
Anyone else has been dealing with this?

Reading progress is available so now you can track and make notes at the same time.
Also please add a passkey if you have only one login method. Proof of work verification was added to login page due to growing spammers. Email sending is unblocked now but we all know it’s not the end.

Linux 7.2 Improves Intel Panther Lake Xe3 Arc B390 Graphics Performance
My testing of the in-development Linux 7.2 kernel continues in the lab. One of the latest promising findings from this kernel that will be released as stable in August is faster Intel Xe3 graphics performance on Core Ultra Series 3 "Panther Lake" hardware.

I'm also thinking of a subscription model for MakerTube like Spectra is discussing it. Price increase at Hetzner's is hitting us quite hard (roughly +30%) and I don't know how to cover costs for future storage increase. Sadly I must say that the donation based approach has its limits. Linux Patches Introduce "KNOD" For In-Kernel Network Offloading Directly To AMD GPUs
Some extremely cool patches were posted to the Linux kernel mailing list on Sunday. The patches for "KNOD" allow for in-kernel network offloading to GPUs with an initial focus on AMD GPU support. What makes this all the more nifty is that it doesn't depend upon any user-space libraries like AMD ROCm but is all handled in-kernel with driving the GPU directly...

蚊が部屋を元気に飛び回ってきたので、買ってきたばかりの無電源のアースノーマットを開封して置いてみた。蚊は五分もしないうちに低空飛行の末、物陰に隠れた。さすがの性能。
