In addition to the Linux kernel staging area now rejecting AI/LLM-generated patches except for real security fixes, the Linux wireless networking code is also seeing some shifts around how it will deal with AI/LLM generated patches...

Steve Bate@Steve_Bate@mastodon.social (2026-08-06 21:37:11) I migrated from my self-hosted Mastodon instance to mastodon.social. Of course, I couldn't move my posts so I created a small server to provide the archive of my post history without changing any #ActivityPub URIs or media URLs. It seems to be working well. RAM usage is down from 1.2GB to 45MB (-97%) and disk usage down from 160GB to 15MB (-99.99% drop) compared to keeping the old server running. I've been surprised how many "hits" I'm seeing for old posts, so I'm glad the archive is available.

> Outproduce engineering teams. Lisp Machine productivity (1,000 lines of debugged Lisp per day, equivalent to 10,000 lines of C) compounds with LLM coding agents driving the image directly. The leverage approaches one hundred to one against conventional C engineering teams. https://hachyderm.io/@gmpalter/117044268951603975
