デスクトップコンピューターに(gnu)linuxを入れようと思って居たけれどguix sdがいいかも。guileも使って楽しいし。

立て続けに Guix System の方がカーネルの脆弱性修正の更新対応が早いということが実際に起きているので、Mastodon サーバーを Podman on Guix System へ移行しようという気持ちがかなり強まっている。
すでに Guix でいくつかサーバーを運用してて、実際に対応速度の差を深く実感してしていて、Guix System の価値いまがとても輝いている。

僕の方はpingだけでそれぐらいかかっちゃいます…
でもIPv6がドンドン普及してるようなので、ほっておけば半年後とかには速くなったりするかもしれないですね🥳

私は遅くなったとは感じません。curlで試すと読み込み完了までの時間は0.3秒から0.4秒程度でした。

IPv6にしてすごくアクセスが遅くなって、プロバイダの相性だからみなさんが問題ないなら良いけどみなさんも遅いならIPv6切るか、何か考えます

IPv6のルートが、東京→ロサンゼルス→シンガポールになってしまって、遅い
こういうときにcloudflareとかが繋いでくれたら速いんだろうと思う

This looks like a fine idea. My hosting provider doesn't offer any fediverse options, much less GTS, so this less-than-normie must think of other options. For a while now I've wanted to restart my full-fledged personal blog, but I already keep up with two websites for other things, and just that tires me out. For now I have my personal domain pointed at a spot. Still thinking ...

windowsではプログラムのexeファイルと設定ファイルとを同じフォルダに入れて一緒に持ち運べる。羨ましい。
