FreeBSDのブートローダのアセンブリ実装(stand/efi/loader/arch/amd64/start.S)を見てみると変なことをしている。
push rcx -> push rdx -> pop rcx -> pop rdx -> push rcx -> push rdx -> call self_reloc -> (pop..)
(MS x64 ABIファームウェアから渡されたrcxとrdxを入れ替えて、callを跨ぐためにスタックに退避)
self_relocの引数が4つ(System V ABIでrdi, rsi, rdx, rcx)あったときの名残で、今は2つになっているから入れ替える必要はないかも。
OpenBSDにもこのコードが引き継がれていて、はじめよく分からなかった。

Qtのバグに悩まされて、システムの共有ライブラリを自分でビルドしたものに置き換えて使っていたけれど、当然こんなことは続けたくないから、パッチがマージされる見込み立って嬉しい

ひとまずこれからモダンオペレーティングシステム読んで、その次はBSDカーネルの設計と実装か詳解Linuxカーネル(こっちのほうが古く、3000円安い…)とかを読めたら嬉しい
もしくは直接OSソースコードを見てもいいかも

私の場合、入手した道具が無駄になりやすい。拘りとの相性が悪いとか、別のものに拘り始めて要らなくなるとか、単に飽きるとか。

yubikeyかそれに類似した機器を試したいけれどopenbsd+firefxの組み合せで動くかどうか不安。動かなかったらゴミになる。将来パスキーが必要になった時のために試したい。パスキーをよく知らないで避けて居たけれどusb portに鍵を挿入するのはパスワードよりも楽だし、二段階認証よりマシ。

2Dゲームのスプライトといふ仕組みは分かりやすい。画像の番号と表示位置をメモリに書き込み、その通りに描画するだけ。グラフィックAPIやフレームワークが変はっても移植できる。
