I think gcd009 does point out that not everyone agrees with blank project statements. Personally I think both gcds have merit, but it actually may be useful for distros to ban LLM contributions until humans are not deemed lazy ;). So I'll stay with gcd008 for now.

@pjotrprins @sharlatan @dthompson It is a very poor choice of humor here in my opinion, in a very poor moment.

I love having a laugh but I also know my sense of humor is pretty strong for certain cultural backgrounds so I abstain from it, or I keep it to places were people can see it coming.

In a consensus document, we should try to use the minimum common denominator of everything so we can reach some ground for understanding.

@pjotrprins @sharlatan gcd 008 passing would have been great. I think the objection is invalid as all stated reasons are about the consensus process itself and not the policy. furthermore they seem to think that gnu policy applies to guix which isn't the case because the gcd process is the governance mechanism.
