Say goodbye to Linked Data Signatures

We now support verifying FEP-8b32 Object Integrity Proofs using either eddsa-jcs-2022 or mldsa44-jcs-2024.
The latest version of Mastodon can verify FEP-8b32 integrity proofs, which replace outdated Linked Data Signatures.

May 10th, 2026, cell tower infrastructure near Burro Peak, NM. In the wilderness of the Western US, you sometimes see cell phone infrastructure, rising up on a mountain top in the middle of nowhere, like some kind of demented dying-earth wizard's tower.

#FediHood now supports #ActivityPub events, which means it is compatible with software such as #Mobilizon. You can create and receive events in the area you selected.
Joining and leaving events is not implemented yet.
