久し振りにメインのノートパソコンにGuix Systemを入れて使っている。

しばらくDRM Native Context周りを追ってなかったけどだいぶ進んでた
まずQEMU本体にDRM Native Context対応が取り込まれてた
この機能はQEMU 11.0で使えるらしい
更に, Mesa 26.1でIntel GPUがDRM Native Contextに対応した
これで主要なデスクトップ向けGPUでDRM Native Context非対応なのはNvidiaだけになった

今日届いた新しい MacBook Neo を初期設定した
今の所パフォーマンスが驚く程良く、グラフィックスプログラミングも全く問題なかった
只、WireGuard経由でBeagleIM（XMPPクライアント）を実行していると、同じネットワーク上にある OpenBSD サーバーの Prosody（XMPPサーバー）が頻繁にクラッシュする現象に気づいた
BeagleIMを終了すると、クラッシュは止まった
かなり奇妙な挙動なので、@tigase@fosstodon.org さんの方で調査して頂けるの？

@fedi Yes, there is a list of supported clients in the readme: https://codeberg.org/silverpill/mitra#supported-clients

Other clients should also work, but that's not guaranteed.

Besides Mapstodon.Space, I've set up an instance of wanderer, a decentralized, self-hosted trail database software (think Strava/Komoot alternative on the Fediverse!). 

Due to a slow but steady growth, it was struggling recently with a low-spec infra (a Raspberry Pi). I've migrated the instance on a machine with much better specs and it runs way more smoothly now.

Running my own LLM systems on local hardware means I control the compute, I control the attack surface, and I control the data.

It's a serious upgrade over using somewhat flaky (and privacy-stupid) cloud providers.
