Also, on the subject of GoToSocial, I switched my frontend to the Masto-FE fork by the GTS team, and it's a lot better for my Mastodon-addled brain. It very much behaves like the Mastodon frontend I know, but with some quality-of-life improvements which pair nicely with GTS.

I'm going to need to take my GoToSocial instance offline sometime in the next few days in order to test disaster recovery. That's really the last big piece before I decide if I'm going to port my followers from the @vkc account over.
So if I go dark, that's probably why!

Windows NTのバージョニングはよくわからない
5.2→6.0で互換性問題が起こるレベルの大変革を起こしたかと思いきや6.3→10.0ではそれほどデカい変化ではなかったし, 一方で6.1(Win7)→6.2(Win8)の変化はWinRTの導入などそれなりに大きい

This looks like a fine idea. My hosting provider doesn't offer any fediverse options, much less GTS, so this less-than-normie must think of other options. For a while now I've wanted to restart my full-fledged personal blog, but I already keep up with two websites for other things, and just that tires me out. For now I have my personal domain pointed at a spot. Still thinking ...

Edit with Emacs というのが最高かもしれない。
ブラウザ上の入力フォームを Emacs で開いて編集できる。
コンピュータで文字を入力するのはEmacsかブラウザだけなので、ブラウザの入力フォームを常にこれで入力すれば文字入力を Emacs に統一できそう。
