@dthompson I believe most web developers would pick up sxml in a minute. And macros instead of all the transpilers and complex build tools should really win everyone over, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way.

The big announcement here is that we've been approved for an @nlnet grant to cover the next 12 months of work on the task force.
As such, I'm needing to write up an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) plan for NLNet to ensure we can secure the funding for each work item.

Have you ever felt your #Mastodon timeline was missing something? You get regular updates about the weather, the bongs of Big Ben on the hour; perhaps even that one account that toots like a chicken. But you've been missing timely updates about the Islamic call to prayer.
No longer: with FediAdhan, simply pick your location on the map and you'll get an account you can follow from your #ActivityPub client, which will drop a toot in your timeline when any of the five Islamic prayer times rolls around (and optionally for sunrise as well). And you get a neat pie chart of daylight/twilight for your location, as a bonus.
Explicitly opt-in, privacy focused, #HumanMade with no LLMs used at any stage in development. Try it out, let me know if you have thoughts, feedback, issues you run into.
