#FediHood should be easy to use, with a very simple interface. It fully uses #ActivityPub and is compatible with the #Mastodon API (tested with #Fedilab). It will of course bring extra endpoints related to how it works. The project reuses the combined work from #HolosSocial and #PawFed.

Implementing Ranked Choice voting in North Carolina should be a high priority for North Carolina Democrats. It's a proven effective method of voting that has been shown to increase voter turnout. I believe Democracy is the path forward for our state.

IceWM 4.1.0 released
IceWM, the venerable X11 window manager, has put up a new maintenance release, version 4.1.0. It's got a small number of fixes, two very minor new features, as well a few updated translations. That's it.

Great day at #Fedicon yesterday. I met lots of new people from the #ActivityPub community. I've always thought that #XMPP and the #Fediverse are ideologically well-aligned, and that our developer communities should talk to each other more. In that regard, it was a big success.

i always feel weird when i have to make that kind of post. but i think it has to be done.
catto.garden has been the digital home for a bunch of critters for the last year and a half, from hosting their personal websites and fediverse presence to supporting their communications. and we accept more critters over time. to be able to do so, we don't depend on ads or sponsorships. but anyone can help us keep the lights on by donating:

the monthly cost for hosting is at ~25€/month
additionally, due to a technical issue with my laptop that made it unable to work at all, as well as a (probably) non-functional motherboard, i'm not able to work on catto.garden for the time being, and i can't cover the cost for a replacement/repair, as i don't currently have a job or any other income. i expect the cost to be around 50 to 100 euros at least.
i'm really sorry for the begpost, but i have no other choice, unfortunately. thank you for reading.
