An actively maintained and updated Motif fork actually exists
Motif is great, I love how it looks and feels, and I want it to be actively maintained. I want a healthy ecosystem of Motif applications and even window managers and desktop environments, so I can run a real Motif environment. AROS gets official Raspberry Pi images

@akavel I think he mostly worked in casein, but as far as what colors might work, paint is paint, and I think the looseness of his style can be inspirational for watercolors

@ben Thanks! He's not doing watercolors though, no? Hm, but ok, I'm googling him now, and maybe I now understand what you mean - indeed, blue, brown, red, various colors but rarely black - so this aspect could be also done in watercolors! By the way this now reminded me, that since starting this technique (I'm a total amateur), I wondered how one can do night in watercolors - also difficult to find examples on the web, but maybe they'd share a similar idea!

If Jerry's not okay with racism he has a really funny way of showing it because I know he handled one of the reports we sent over about racism and the guy is still on there being an asshole to people. I don't need to have a conversation with the mod. We judge on actions and the INactions of the instance very clearly show that they're not as hard on racism as they should be.

@Curator @wendynather @jerry I was trying to connect you with the person who runs the instance, so you could actually have a conversation and understand what’s going on with infosec.exchange. Jerry is a really cool guy, who is not okay with racism. If you had a “disgusting” conversation with him, there was some kind of misunderstanding.

@Curator Totally unrelated but marginally related to a tiny subsection of the linked conversation:
I also got moderated for swearing very recently on a non-fedi community forum of a project I used to be a huge fan and booster of, after a retort from another user was excessively rude, and I was told (after the head dev came in to cheer for the rude guy, for no reason whatsoever) that it's fine to express yourself in a more raw fashion.
I tend to try to be extremely polite on those sorts of forums, cause you'll have kids and parents and who knows what all there, but if those were the rules, I tagged in the rude guy and told him to go fuck himself, and that's when they decided oh no, too raw buddy.
On a totally unrelated note, would anyone like to buy a Zynthian V5?
