Hi everyone. Yesterday, many #snac instances had a failure in the notifications area: accessing it was impossible. I have not much information about what the problem is, but it seems it's related to a specially crafted post that makes snac hang. If this is happening to you, and you have access to snac's disk storage, you can delete manually the files inside the notify directory of your user (they are a bunch of .json files).
Whenever I finally understand what is making snac fail, I'll publish a version that mitigates this.

Yes chaos.social now has the mastodon default theme. No we do not plan to keep it this way.
Upstream changed a lot again and our old themes don't build, therefore we need time to adapt our themes to the new changes.
This is a work that needs multiple hours and sucks. So you will have to wait a little.
In other news, we are now on the latest version of the 4.6.x branch. 4.7.x has big database migrations that will take hours too so we decided enough work for today. #mastoadmin

たぶん、Typed Racketの契約的な境界でだいぶスピードダウンしているはずだけどチューニニングするのは難しそう。スピードを求めるならやはり全部 Typed Racket で書ききる必要があるか。
もしくは将来 Typed Rhombus ができて Typed Racket と型の互換性があれば希望がある…

悲しいけど、 rhombus-graph-executor にパフォーマンスについてのリミテーションのブロックを追加してスピードが必要な場合は Typed Racket 版の graph-executor を使うように促した……。graph-executor は割と既に実用しており、実用の範囲の中での最小クラスの事例でも find-livecheck とかが終わらなかったからモデル検査まで含めるといまのところ Typed Racket 版じゃないとうまくいかなそうなことが分かってしまった…

Linux 7.4 To Improve Apple Silicon Audio Support & Its "Impossible" Power Management
The Apple Silicon audio driver code within the Linux kernel is preparing to make use of the recent shared GPIO infrastructure for allowing multiple drivers / kernel components to nicely share the same GPIO lines. This should help clean things up in the mainline kernel for the Apple Silicon audio support and with a cleaner architecture than the current downstream Asahi Linux code...
