Can I recommend GNU Emacs to people? No, not really, but that's because I can't recommend any editor to people¹. All serious editors are A Project to actually use (because of all the learning). If you've got one that works, stick with it. Otherwise, who knows what will click or be appealing or do what you want, certainly not me.
¹ the one exception is that Unix sysadmins will benefit from learning 'basic' vi editing because vi is absolutely everywhere. What counts as basic vi may vary.

I built a content calendar, a newsletter repurposing workflow, and a custom tool to make carousels — all so I'd eliminate the friction of posting consistently on social media.
All three tools worked brilliantly. But I still didn't post.
The real block wasn't a missing tool. It was a limiting belief about social media.
Once I wrestled through that, the work I’d been avoiding got a whole lot easier.

I have a bunch of low/mid-range smartphones I don’t really need, mostly Mediatek LG’s (predating VoLTE) and Snapdragon Motorola devices. What should I do with them, send them to interested pmOS devs or something? I probably won’t put them on OLX, since they wouldn’t sell well (especially LG’s junk).

I've been "maintaining" it for years and recently put a plaster on it to compile on a modern C compiler.
There's plenty of other cleanup work to do.
But it functions.

Dropping the Google version of the app was a pleasure. I could finally remove all their restrictions:
- Register an account with #Fedilab
- Donation links
- Hard-coded filters for #PeerTube containing "download" and "YouTube"
The APK that I attach to release notes is signed with the same key, so Play users can install it over their current version.
I know Google is the best way to be known, but it has a price I am no longer willing to pay.

インターネットには、もっと色んな曲を書きゃいいのにずっと失恋の歌を書いてるクリエイターとか、ずっと彼氏に捨てられた女の子の歌を書いているクリエイターがいて、世界にそういう存在があることは申し訳ないけど本当にうつくしいことだと思う

I fixed a privacy bug in #HolosDiscover. If you asked not to appear in search through your bio, it did not always respect that because the #NoIndex tag in bios had a bug and the bot did not read profile fields.
In some cases discovery also fell back to the discoverable flag, which is now removed (that flag is about accounts, not posts).
Everything is fixed and I also cleaned up what was already stored. The database is clean. Sorry for that.

Today I’ve been experimenting with CSS styles and fonts in the blockquote. After a few attempts and tweaks, this version seems the best to me for now. But I’m not entirely sure yet whether I’ll keep this style for the long term. I need to think it over carefully.
