@ksnk 怠け者なのでミラーリングはもちろん自動化してるのわよ。
メディアの寿命については、やはり手焼きよりはちやんとプレスされた製品の方が保ちはいい感じがあるけど気の所為かもしれんぬ。

@blueday 一日一回は真面目だね。俺なんてバックアップ作業は数ヶ月に一度くらゐだ。
BDメディアは正直あんまり長持ちしないだらうねぇ。ゲームのCDだって怪しい位だから。

@ksnk うちも同容量のHDD2台で一日一回ミラーリングしてるのでHDD購入費用が2倍でドン（しろめ）。
なほ先日、10年前位に焼いたBD-Rに読めないものをかなりの枚数確認したので、そちらも再生機材よりまづはメディアの生死確認をおぬぬめ……。

Friend of @spritely Zacchaeus showing off Norn, which combines Guix, Shepherd, and Goblins. There's definitely Emacs open with some Scheme code on that laptop screen even though you can't read what it is.

@blueday さうなんよね。俺の運用だと、特に自作データは買ひ増したHDDにも保存して、部分的に人力RAID1をやってゐるよ。
専らテレビ録画を残す用途のブルーレイも、一番汎用的な25GBだけを使ってゐる。まあいつまでBDレコーダーが供給されるか判らないから気休めなのだけど。

My essentially single-user Mastodon server is becoming more expensive to run on @mastohost without doing some cleanup. My problem is that I don’t actually know how/what to clean up.
Early on I used relays to improve federation; I think there’s a TON of data in the db from that which could just be purged, but I don’t want to accidentally lose any user data. A couple of years ago we did run `tootctl statuses remove` but I might have still had a relay enabled more recently.

On holiday, I had the chance to reproduce an issue with IPv6 and #Fedilab. It all happened through a WiFi repeater: the app got stuck on each start because IPv6 was available but not routable. I used this opportunity to fix it and let the app gracefully fall back to IPv4 when it happens.
