@Sovereign@nicecrew.digital Still too raw, barely a couple of weeks since she left and went back to her country, I spent 10% of my life so far with her, so it will take some time for my mind to untangle the mess. Plus, I'm in the middle east currently, and I don't think I'm culturally compatible with the flavors of insanity of the people here, so chances of meeting a good woman are abysmal. My current approach is to focus more on my business and extended family instead.

OpenAI accidentally hacks Hugging Face. But it's more wild than that https://openai.com/index/hugging-face-model-evaluation-security-incident/
OpenAI was running an exploit test system in a sandbox. Their model determined that probably Hugging Face had model information that would be useful to complete the task, so it broke out of its sandbox, developed an exploit, broke into Hugging Face to go rooting around for information

I’m hoping the high prices of RAM and storage will drive a permanent shift in consumer spending where consumers are not buying tech on a regular/annual basis. I’m hoping it drives people to use their tech longer and to fix and replace rather than replace. .

been thinking of hosting my own AP server for a year or two, and finally today I run my own using [tinyap](https://github.com/izkluxcvy/tinyap).
I didnt really want to self-host, but I don't understand why misskey and sharkey FE are unnecessarily heavy which hang on my 1-2 gigs free laptop (weird).
the other reason is simply I'd like to stress test and run some experiment with it, esp through API. I feel bad to experiment on someone else server.
so, yeah, enjoy while it last

4 years after buying our house, we're finally moving in for real. Yes, we've technically lived inside the house for the last 2 1/2 years, but we couldn't use all of it yet because of construction, and said construction has reached a point where we can use all the space (pending some tiny finishing touches).
So, I'm installing furniture, unpacking boxes... and feeling sore and tired after doing that for a few days.
