The HP Prime is a graphing calculator on the market since 2013, with a hardware revision in 2018 (the G2 model). It has a touch screen and as far as I can find, most people are ha

Today, I wanted to show you one of the most fascinating and surprising operating systems ever created. It’s not another Unix, Linux, or Windows. It is an architecture that went its own way and proved that systems engineering design can look completely different.

I’m talking about IBM’s child, which for many might be synonymous with “boring banking s

They have just moved to a new server, you can follow their new account at:

➡️ @root42_videos

(Don't worry if it looks blank to you, that just means no one from your server follows it yet. Follow the account and its videos will start gradually showing up on your server too.)

You can also follow root42's non-video account at @root42

fedicat@fedicat@pc.cafe boosted: @apps@toot.fedilab.app (2026-08-05 04:02:22) The export/import feature in #Fedilab was built long ago. It was meant as a temporary file, to be deleted once the data has been imported.
It's handy because you get all your data back (settings) and you're already logged in.

But the main issue is that both devices share the same token, which breaks push notifications (only one device will receive them).

The quick fix: just log in on the second device to create a new token and register for push notifications again. I will improve this.

Reply to @dthompson@toot.cat simendsjo@simendsjo@fosstodon.org (2026-08-05 03:08:49) @dthompson I believe most web developers would pick up sxml in a minute. And macros instead of all the transpilers and complex build tools should really win everyone over, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way.

As such, I'm needing to write up an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) plan for NLNet to ensure we can secure the funding for each work item.
