@cameron @RJL20 I'm amazed that the flowbee is still available! Was this a vintage thrift store flowbee, or was it more of a "I am an adult with the adult money required to indulge my every whim and also I have access to the Internet," kind of situation?

@fedicat@pc.cafe just wanted to say that we've been super happy with Codefloe so far. Much smoother experience, and very quick to address any issue that might come up.

@dthompson IV does become quite a slog toward the end.
Glad you're liking V, though! Are you playing Vengeance, or vanilla?

I'm thinking about offering some informal mentoring to someone who wants to get into #postmarketOS development (packaging, #duranium) or other projects I'm heavily involved with. I've been contributing to pmOS for a while, and I'm happy to help someone get unstuck. In return I'd ask for patience (I make mistakes and I don't have infinite time), and some self-motivation and comfort with Linux, the command line, and git. Would anyone be interested in this?

#FediHood now has a better composer. You can post three types: messages with topics, events and communities.
There is also a bot that can put anyone from the #Fediverse on the map (a remote filter is available). More about how to appear: https://fedihood.social/locator

I've played about 40 hours of shin megami tensei v in the past few weeks. really enjoying it. for whatever reason I could never bring myself to beat the previous smt game for 3DS. that one felt more punishing and tense, I guess.

Pixelix is now free!
After two and a half years of developing Pixelix and having it as a paid app, we've decided to switch things up and make Pixelix free for everyone.
We’re really excited to see where this takes Pixelix, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us so far.

KawaneRio🇯🇵🌸🍡@rio@kawane.misskey.online (2026-09-09 02:00:09)
I've posted this in the KDE Network Japan Matrix and the Japan KDE Users' Group channels, but I will post it on here as well!
I, KawaneRio, am planning to run a KDE booth at Open Source Conference 2026 Tokyo/Fall, an open-source software event held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito-kan on 2026-10-17T01:00:00.000Z (2026/10/17) from 10:00 to 16:00. However, it seems that the vice president of JKUG (Japan KDE Users' Group) won't be able to assist me like last year, so... it seems like I'll be setting up the booth all by myself! Which is not exactly desirable when I need to use the restroom and all!
So, here is my favor to ask. If anyone you know near Tokyo is free on 10/17 and wouldn't mind helping out at the KDE booth, please get in touch with me, KawaneRio, via Misskey @rio , Discord KawaneRio#8706 or kawanerio, Matrix kawanerio:kde.org or email me at KawaneRio@proton.me.
Thank you for reading!

May 25, a rainy road walk south of Grants. Unlike Human (trail name) here, my 3 oz rain jacket was not up to the challenge. Just look at him: rain jacket, umbrella, rain skirt... He said it still sucked, but the gear looked worth the weight to me. (I bought an emergency poncho in Grants, and it was such an upgrade that I'm team poncho from here on)

The Linux Kernel Planning To Remove Around ~55k Lines Of Old ARM Platform Code
For the current Linux 7.3 kernel many older 32-bit ARM platforms are deprecated and in turn orphaning hundreds of drivers only relevant to those out-of-date ARM platforms. The removal of that now deprecated code is planned for the next kernel cycle or two...
